This device is an alarm system that tries to reduce the chance that a thief can steal a bike. It is an embedded device inside the bike frame that can sense vibrations of the theif trying to break the bike lock and consequently it sends the bike owner an sms or calls his cell phone or starts an alarm or sends a central security system an sms that a bike is being stolen. This gives the bike owner or the central security a chance to check the bike before it is taken away.
1. Vibration sensor is adjusted to feel correctly the thief trying to break the bike lock. Its sensitivity and location inside the bike frame is adjusted so that it is not confused with other normal vibrations. The bike owner turns off the system when he rides the bike by sending the system a certain format SMS
2. The microcontroller unit receives a signal from the sensor and consequently calls or sends an SMS to the bike owner cell phone through the GSM chip. it may also start an alarm sarin
3. The chips used are selected to use minimum power and the microcontroller software is designed to keep it in sleep mode all the time unless waked up by the external interrupt from the sensor
4. The system battery and charging circuit are connected to the bike dynamo internally in a way that the thief cannot observe if this bike contains the alarm system inside its frame or not
5. The bike owner can control the system options and turn it on or off by sending special format SMS to the GSM module inside the system
6. When the user receives an SMS from his bike that it is being stolen, there is a good chance that he can go and check it before it is taken
7. Bike thieves will always be scared that they are stealing a bike with this alarm system
